We’re very excited to be bringing our Diwali celebrations back to Street Feast’s Shoreditch home – Dinerama – for a most delicious evening of top-notch vegetarian street food, and a never-seen-before line-up full of unmatched South-Asian talent.

Buy tickets to Celebrate Diwali

£1 from every ticket will be donated to Seeds of Peace, a charity helping teenagers from regions of conflict learn the skills of making peace.

As night falls on October 22nd, join us for what promises to be a most special, unforgettable evening. Together with Soumik Datta Arts*, we’ve assembled the best line-up of South-Asian talent for your enjoyment and some of the best names in street food will be serving up delicious vegetarian treats. See a snippet below of what to expect – more to follow!

Headlining this year’s celebrations is the brilliant, Indian-born, London-raised, super-talented musician, composer and sarod player, Soumik Datta. He’s an incredible talent, and will charm audiences with his modern leanings on the ancient sarod.

Supporting Soumik, there’ll be most talented artist Vibs Bhatia, whose music merges Hindi, Punjabi and English to bring a fusion feel to her Indian heritage, as well as singer-songwriter, Sarangi player and vocalist, Amrit Kaur Lohia and Bombay-born, London-grown indie-pop singer-songwriter Saachi Sen.

Then two first-class bands will take to the stage: enjoy fine sounds from Khiyo – a British-Bangladeshi band that gives Bengali music a fresh London sound. And Side Partition – a London-based rock fusion collective with Indian and Pakistani roots. Expect a bit of rock’n’roll, a bit of blues and lots of funk!

Jaspreet Kaur
is a top-class, award-winning Spoken Word artist from East London. Her poetry is thought-provoking, challenging and has taken her to speaking at TED, the UN and many women’s networks. Expect to be inspired.

We’re proud to call him our friend, and delighted that Ryan LanjiDJ, curator and founder of queer South Asian club night Hungama – will be spinning the best of tunes through the evening.

Street Feast’s finest traders will be serving up some (really too yummy) vegetarian dishes. Look forward to Yum Bun’s fluffy steamed buns and steamed Yumplings, and madcap ice cream creations from Chin Chin Labs. You can also delight in a MASSIVE Dishoom Jackfruit Biryani and a brand-new street food creation from Chef Naved of Shakarhandi Chaat. This will all be washed down with a tasty array of drinks.

Tickets are available here. It will be an absolutely brilliant evening and we’d love people from all walks of life, faiths and persuasions to come and celebrate with us! In the meantime, do follow us on social for any updates and news about the line-up.
